HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - One of Hawaii's most popular sight-seeing attractions reopened Saturday.
Workers finished repairing sections of the Diamond Head Trail that were eroding. They also stabilized areas that were prone to rock falls.
Hikers have had to deal with partial closures for months and the project was delayed by rainy weather.
Tourists who spoke with us say they are happy the trail is open just in time for their visit.
Diamond Head trail now resumes its normal hours, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
