Police open missing persons case for Mokauea Island resident

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Honolulu police have opened a missing persons case following Thursday's house fire on Mokauea Island.

Milton Lopez, who lived in the home that was destroyed in the fire, was reported missing by his daughter.

The 54 year old is 5'6" and weighs 150 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

According to officials, it has been a while since Lopez was on Mokauea Island.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
