HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow)- A building fire has engulfed a home this morning on Mokauea Island.
There are at least four homes on the island which is considered one of Hawaii's oldest fishing villages.
Firefighters used a boat to reach the blaze, which is located about a half mile offshore near Sand Island.
The fire was under control by 6:15 a.m., according to firefighters.
