Brush fire flares up in Pacific Palisades

PACIFIC PALISADES (HawaiiNewsNow) - Honolulu firefighters were back out in the Pacific Palisades area to extinguish a brush fire that ignited on Tuesday.

Crews were up at the top of Komo Mai Drive near the Manana trail where the fire started.

Two engine companies and a tanker helped put out hot spots. At last check, about six acres were scorched.

No homes are threatened. Fire officials are unsure how the fire started.
