HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - An elderly woman driving a white Toyota Camry lost control of her car and crashed into the front of Bob's Bar-B-Cue restaurant at the corner of Waiakamilo Road and Dillingham Boulevard at about 12:45 p.m. Thursday.
The woman was taken to the hospital with minor injuries, according to police at the scene.
A group of high school students eating at the restaurant were shaken up as the car drove up onto the steps leading to the take out window and knocked out a support beam for the room.
The car came to a rest just a few feet from where they were sitting. None of the students were injured.
The restaurant itself was not damaged and remains open.
