Man dies after all-terrain vehicle accident

LAUPAHOEHOE, Hawaii (HawaiiNewsNow) - A man was killed when his all-terrain vehicle went off a bridge in Laupahoehoe.

Authorities said the victim was supposed to pick up a friend Saturday night, but never showed up. The friend searched for him Sunday morning, and found him face down in a stream, beneath the ATV.  It appeared that the victim drove off the bridge, falling eight to ten feet to the rocky streambed.

Police have classified the case as an accident.
