LAIE (HawaiiNewsNow) - Ken Wagner notched his 400th win as coach of the Seasiders tonight as the Brigham Young University Hawaii men's basketball team defeated Dominican 75-64 in a Pacific West Conference game.  The Seasiders, now 8-4 for the season and 3-0 in the PacWest, shot 63 percent from the field in the first half to race out to a 45-23 halftime lead and left no doubt that the milestone would be reached for Coach Wagner.

Jet Chang scored 18 points while Marques Whippy and Jake Dastrup dropped in 16 apiece to pace the win.  Rory Patterson added ten points as the Seasider starters tallied all but ten of the team's points.  Whippy added eight rebounds, four assists, and three steals to his night's work while Dastrup dished out six assists.  Heath Gameren handed out ten assists and came up with four steals to go with his five points.

The Seasiders will next play Hawaii Pacific in Laie on January 21st at 7:30 p.m. in another Pacific West Conference game.
