HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The Honolulu Medical Examiner's office on Tuesday identified the boy killed in a five-vehicle collision in Kunia New Year's Day as Samson Sese, 12, of Kaneohe.

An autopsy found that the child died from massive head injuries.

Police say Sese was a passenger in a Mitsubishi that was being driven erratically on Kunia Road. The car crossed the center line and slammed into a Mercury driven by Jennifer Parsons.

Parsons, 42, was also killed.

The impact triggered a chain-reaction crash that involved three more vehicles. In all, six people were hospitalized with injuries.

Investigators say the Mitsubishi and another car, a Lexus, were speeding prior to the wreck. The drivers of those vehicles could face negligent homicide and negligent injury charges.
