JOINT BASE PEARL HARBOR-HICKAM (HawaiiNewsNow) - President Obama and his family left Hawaii on Air Force One at about 9:45 on Monday night.
They went to Pyramid Rock Beach earlier in the day before heading to Island Snow for shave ice. This was the president's second trip to the Kailua hot spot during this visit. The group also stopped by the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific. President Obama's grandfather, who was a World War II veteran, is buried at Punchbowl. The president and his daughters later headed to the Honolulu Zoo. The family had dinner at Lucy's in Kailua.
