Recipe: Easy and Tasty Clam Pasta
What you need!
- 3 6.5 oz cans of chopped clams
- ¼ cup tomato paste
- ½ cup PHILADELPHIA Sundried Tomato and Basil Cream Cheese
- 1 17.6 oz bag of dried spaghetti
Cook the spaghetti according to the package and reserve 1/3 cup of the cooking water. Combine the reserved cooking water, clams with clam juice, and tomato paste in a large pan and bring to a simmer. Remove the pan from heat and whisk in the cream cheese until well incorporated. Return the pan to the heat and cook until reduced by half. Add the pasta to the sauce mixture and stir for an additional two minutes. Garnish with basil and crushed red peppers, if desired. Enjoy!
