Ohana Festival Celebrates New Year on Sunday

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow)- Celebrate Japanese culture at the 2011 New Year's Ohana Festival at the Japanese Cultural Center.   Enjoy taiko performances, mochi pounding, ethnic foods, make-and-take crafts, keiki games, cultural displays.

Some new things to the festival this year include Ohia Productions who will be putting on a short performance and we may be having some new food dishes added to our already the already tantalizing list of cuisine.

Free Admission. Parking is available at University of Hawai'i at Manoa parking structure on Dole Street. A complimentary shuttle will run between the UH parking structure and the Cultural Center. Parking will also be available at the JCCC on Sunday.
