No tsunami expected from Chilean earthquake

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A major earthquake hit Chile at about 10:20 a.m. Sunday, but no tsunami is expected to be generated from the quake, according to the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center.

The quake, which was a magnitude 7.2, was located along Chile's central coast.
