Salmonella outbreak tied to tainted alfalfa sprouts

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A salmonella outbreak tied to tainted alfalfa sprouts has spread to 16 states, including Hawaii.

So far, 94 cases have been reported, more than half in Illinois.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration is advising people not to eat alfalfa sprouts produced by the "Tiny Greens Organic Farm.
