Seasick passengers returned to shore

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Emergency crews were needed to help bring about 20 passengers to shore from a dive boat about a mile off Hawaii Kai Monday after several people became seasick.

Lifeguards and Fire Department crews were sent to the boat after it reported running out of fuel and several customers became seasick. All the passengers and at least one crew member were taken safely to shore.

The boat was refueled and returned to the marina on its own.
