Good Things: December 24

In our Good Things segment Friday morning, a local jeweler wants to bring some bling to your holiday. Hildgund Jewelry has been hiding over $20,000 worth of jewelry during the 12 days of Christmas. The wrapped gift boxes have been placed in various public locations on Oahu, Maui and the Big Island. The campaign ends on December 25.

The Warrior football team will put everything on the line when they hit the field Friday at Aloha Stadium for the Sheraton Hawaii Bowl. But on Thursday, Warrior players and cheerleaders gathered at the Kapiolani Medical Center for Women and Children to provide some bedside cheer. Five warriors -- including receiver Kealoha Pilares; defensive backs Mana Silva, Spencer Smith and Jeramy Bryant; and offensive lineman Laupepa Letuli -- signed autographs and posed for pictures. Patients say the opportunity to meet players was a special gift.
