2010 Sheraton Hawai'i Bowl: Hawai‘i vs. Tulsa

Public Parking Opens at 10:00 a.m. via Gates 3 & 4

(AIEA, Hawai‘i) – Kickoff for the 2010 SHERATON HAWAI'I BOWL is set for today, December 24 at 8 p.m. EST/3 p.m. HST, at Aloha Stadium. Tickets are available at the main box office at Aloha Stadium, by phone at 808-548-BOWL or online at www.sheratonhawaiibowl.com Stadium Box Office will open at 11:00 a.m. day of event.

The Lower Halawa Parking Lot (Gates 3 and 4) will open at 10:00 a.m., while all other lots (Upper Halawa, Sheraton Hawai'i Bowl Reserved, and Kamehameha) will open at 11:00 a.m. Must have a parking pass to enter Gate 1.

Alternate parking is also available at Radford High School, Kam Drive-In, and Leeward Community College (LCC). Ford Island will not be available for the game.

Parking is FREE at LCC. Shuttle service is available for $2. Parking at Kam Drive-In is $5 with FREE shuttle service. Parking is $5 at Radford High School however, no shuttle service is available.

In addition to the Upper and Lower Halawa Lots, and Kamehameha Lot, a limited amount of public parking is available on the inner circle in Sections 11 through 14. Public entrance for these areas is through Gate 2 (North Kam). ADA stalls will be open to the public on a first-come, first-serve basis. Parking attendants will be asking for ADA placards and ADA issued identification cards. Guests who are unable to produce the placard and the ID card to match a person inside the vehicle will not be allowed to park in the ADA areas.

Centerplate will again host the Aloha Zone, at (parking Section 8B). The tailgate party will be held under a large tent, with great entertainment and prize giveaways. Admission is FREE to the public.  Various types of food and beverages will be available for purchase at a reasonable price inside the Aloha Zone.

CHEVRON will also host the Family Fun Zone in the Upper Halawa Parking Lot (between poles 2 and 3).

Turnstile gates will open at 1:30 p.m. Strict guidelines on outside food and beverages will be enforced at the turnstile gates. The Honolulu Police Department will also be performing sobriety checks around the stadium after the game. Fans are asked to drink responsibly and use a designated driver.

Entrance through Gate 1 (Main Salt Lake) – Bus Lot and Sections 1-7 only (use RIGHT LANE on Salt Lake Boulevard)

Entrance through Gate 2 (North Kamehameha) – Parking areas 8-14 only (use MIDDLE LANE on Salt Lake Boulevard)

PUBLIC PARKING

Entrance through Gate 3 (Halawa) – Upper and Lower Halawa parking lots only (use two RIGHT lanes on Kahuapaani Street)

Entrance through Gate 4 (Lower Salt Lake) – Upper and Lower Halawa parking lots only (use MIDDLE RIGHT lane on Kahuapaani Street)

Entrance through Gate 5 (Kamehameha) – Kamehameha parking lot only (use LEFT LANE on Salt Lake Boulavard)

Note: Access to the LOWER HALAWA LOT will be through parking gates 3 and 4. Vehicles will NOT be allowed to move to other sections of the parking lot from the LOWER HALAWA LOT.

Guests are asked to follow the Tailgating Policies as listed on handouts upon entrance to all parking lots. Security enforcement will be monitoring all parking lots for violators.

ALTERNATE PARKING SITES – use MIDDLE LEFT LANE on Salt Lake Boulevard

Kam Drive-In (12:30 pm – 1 hour after game) Parking is $5 per vehicle with FREE shuttle service from 1:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. and 6:00 pm to 1 hour after game.

Leeward Community College (12:30 p.m. – 1 hour after game) Parking is FREE. Cost is $2, per person, for shuttle service from 1:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. and 6:00 pm to 1 hour after game.

Radford High School (11:30 a.m. – 1 hour after game) Parking is $5. NO shuttle service available.
