Coming up on Sunrise this morning

Good Friday Morning Sunrisers,

A fire overnight damaged a home in Waianae. Fire crews responded to the blaze on Kaukama Road just before midnight. The American Red Cross is assisting two adults and two children who lived in the home. Total damage is estimated at $270,000.

The Warrior football team faces off against the Tulsa Golden Hurricane this afternoon in the Sheraton Hawaii Bowl. Ramsay Wharton will have live reports from Aloha Stadium featuring the UH band. Go Warriors!

Barry Flanagan from the band HAPA will perform in our Studio B. He'll entertain us with some holiday tunes.

Today is my last day on Sunrise. I'll be moving back to my weekend anchor gig starting on January 1. I'll definitely miss the Sunrise crew, but I won't have to wake up at 2 a.m. anymore!

I hope that you and your family have a safe and happy Christmas Eve!

Make sure to forward this email to your family and friends, so we can add to our Sunrise Ohana. We also want to hear from you! Send your comments and suggestions to Sunrise@HawaiiNewsNow.com.

You can catch all of these stories and segments streaming live online from 4:30 - 9:00 a.m. on HawaiiNewsNow.com or on KGMB, KHNL and KFVE. If you missed one, watch it later on our website.

See you on television,

~ Lisa Kubota
