Police need help finding missing Big Island man

Ernest C. Oleyte was last heard from on Monday. Ernest C. Oleyte was last heard from on Monday.

BIG ISLAND (HawaiiNewsNow) - Big Island police are searching for a missing 62-year-old Pahala man.

Ernest C. Oleyte was last heard from on Monday. He has a medical condition that requires medication.

He is described as 5'6," 160 pounds with gray shoulder-length hair and a receding hairline. He was last seen in Pahala wearing blue jeans and a green sweatshirt. He rides a 2008 red Harley-Davidson motorcycle.

Police ask that anyone with information on his whereabouts call the Police Department's non-emergency line at 935-3311.
