HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Police are investigating the death of a 54-year-old Kaneohe woman after her body was found inside a burned out car in Kaneohe Tuesday.
The Honolulu Medical Examiner's office has identified the victim as Dahlia Barr.
An autopsy will be performed tomorrow to determine the cause of Barr's death.
According to a fire department spokesman, firefighters responded to a report of a car on fire in the parking lot of Barr's Muffler & Welding Shop, 46-132 Kahuhipa St., at about 5:15 a.m.
After the fire in the 4-door sedan was extinguished, firefighters discovered a body inside and called police.
