Power restored to all shops at Ala Moana Center

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - As of 2 p.m., electrical power has been restored to all shops at Ala Moana Center, according to a shopping center spokeswoman.

Ala Moana Center said 52 stores, including Longs Drugs, were closed Tuesday morning following Monday's power outages.

The remaining 238 stores at the shopping center continued to be open for business.

Major stores including Macy's and Shirokiya have had power since Monday's outage and will be open.

Hawaiian Electric Company crews worked to restore power in the 52 stores by Tuesday afternoon.
