A Christmas tree that lights up a shopping mall in Taiwan is reminding people to recycle. The 39-foot tree is made with 80,000 plastic spoons. Local KFC restaurants helped provide the spoons and students designed the tree as part of a local competition to create the best Christmas tree from recycled materials. The town's mayor said the tree should remind people to live an environmentally friendly lifestyle. All the spoons used in the tree will also be recycled at the end of the holiday season.
