HAWAII KAI (HawaiiNewsNow) - There's a warning for residents who live near Kuapa Pond in Hawaii Kai.
Eighty-five thousand gallons of untreated wastewater spilled into the pond near Hawaii Kai Drive and Lunalilo Home Road.
Until water quality testing is completed, people are advised to avoid the water.
Meanwhile the City is monitoring a wastewater discharge into Palolo Stream.
Four-thousand gallons spilled after a sewer pipe failure on Ninth Avenue.
