Good Things: December 17, 2010

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Let's take a look at some of the Good Things in the news...

The Hawaii Food Bank scored some new wheels yesterday. The non-profit received a delivery of 2 new refrigerated trucks courtesy of Walmart. Each is worth about $90,000. On top of that, Walmart also so presented the Food Bank with a $43, 000 check. The trucks will be used for food pick-ups and drop-offs across Oahu.

The iconic mascot of the University of Texas welcomed a few new friends this morning. Along with some camels, sheep and a donkey, "Bevo the Bull" got to meet the world-famous Radio City Rocketts. They were all helping Santa with a living nativity scene in downtown Austin, Texas. The group was taking pictures with fans for free.

Today is our last day we're giving away tickets to the Sheraton Hawaii Bowl featuring the Hawaii Warriors and Tulsa on Christmas Eve. The 2 pairs of tickets are courtesy of Toyota Hawaii. Here's today's question:

Coach Greg McMackin has made it a priority to recruit at home. In fact, this year the Warriors have more players from Hawaii than from the mainland. How many players on the 2010 UH football roster are from the state of Hawaii?
