Wal-Mart is recalling 2.2 million Flow Pro, Airtech, Aloha Breeze and Comfort Essential electric heaters due to fire and burn hazards. They were sold from December 2001 to October 2009. The company has received 21 reports of incidents, including 11 that resulted in property, and four injuries. Contact the company for a full refund.

The new director of the Honolulu Zoo was in charge of the San Francisco Zoo in 2008 when a 17-year-old boy was killed by a tiger that escaped from its pen. Manuel Mollinedo will stop by our studio to discuss the challenges ahead for the Honolulu facility.
