Hannemann to lead Hawaii Hotel and Lodging Association

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - It's one of the most pondered questions since the Nov. 2 election: what will Mufi Hannemann do next?

Sources tell Hawaii News Now the former Honolulu mayor will soon take the top job at the Hawaii Hotel and Lodging Association.

The HHLA has been a fan of Hannemann's for some time and was the first business group to endorse his campaign for governor.

The former head of association, Murray Towill, retired this summer after 18 years.

The announcement has not been made yet.

Hawaii News Now expects more details in the days to come.
