Local businessman donates $1K reward in Mililani home burglary case

MILILANI (HawaiiNewsNow) - A local businessman says he wants to help in a recent Mililani home burglary case by offering a $1,000 reward.

On Dec. 9, someone broke in through a window of Rebecca Stringer's Mililani home.

A MacBook computer, a Canon camera and camcorder were stolen. Each of the items held photographs and video of Stringer's son, Vincent, who died from cancer on Nov. 20.

The thief also got away with some of Stringer's jewelry.

The Stringer family will put $500 toward the reward money.

If the MacBook computer, Canon camera and camcorder are returned, the person who turns it in will receive $1,500.

If the MacBook computer and camcorder are returned, the person will receive $1,000.
