Absentee walk-in voting begins Monday for District 1 special election

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNoW) - Absentee walk-in voting begins Monday for the Honolulu City Council District 1 special election.

Fourteen candidates are running for the remainder of Todd Apo's term, which ends in 2013.

This is a mail-in election which means no polling places will be open on election day.

Ballots must be received by the City clerk, no later than 6 p.m. on Dec. 29.
