HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The Food and Drug Administration ordered that stores empty their stock of "Four Loko" and other caffeinated alcoholic drinks.
"Four Loko," sometimes called "blackout in a can," became notorious for providing a powerful alcoholic punch.
The effects were masked by the caffeine.
The drink has been blamed for several drunken driving accidents and for sending people to the hospital.
