Good Things: December 13, 2010

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Let's take a look at some of the Good Things in the news...

The Diamond Head Theatre Shooting Stars can help you get into the holiday spirit. "The Stars Come Out for Breakfast" is a holiday variety show featuring more than 40 keiki and some surprise special guests. The shows take place tonight and tomorrow night at 7:30pm at Diamond Head Theatre. Tickets are $15 and all proceeds help the Shooting Stars cover the cost of their travel for performances in New York City.

You might remember 2 weeks ago when we told you about a guy who nailed a half-court shot during halftime of the Kings/Bulls game. Well it's happened again. Oklahoma City Thunder fan Rober Yanders hit a half-court shot during a break in last night's Cavaliers/Thunder game. He won $20,000 and even got former Dallas Cowboys head coach Barry Switzer up out of his seat.

And finally, every day this week we're giving away 2 pairs of tickets to the Sheraton Hawaii Bowl set for Christmas Eve, courtesy of Toyota Hawaii. All you have to do is answer this question:

"What are the records for U-H and Tulsa this season?"
