HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The latest chapter in The Chronicles of Narnia saga was the weekend's top film, though it had the weakest debut of the three Narnia films. The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, took in $24.5 million. Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie's romantic thriller The Tourist opened in second with $17 million.

On Wednesday, reports surfaced that the classic royal "tea towel" for Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding had been banned, marking a notable break in tradition among royal affairs. The tea towel is the equivalent of a keepsake dish towel in the States and both of Prince Charles's weddings and the Queen's Golden Jubilee have been commemorated with the souvenir.

Six years after they first met, David Lauren and Lauren Bush were engaged Friday night. David Lauren is the son of fashion king Ralph; Lauren Bush is the niece of President George W. Bush. And if Lauren takes David's name she'd be known as Lauren Lauren.
