KAUAI (Hawaii News Now) - Andy Irons' widow, Lyndie, gave birth to their son, Andrew Axel Irons, according to Triple Crown spokeswoman Jody Wilmott.
The boy, who was delivered by cesarean section this morning, was born on Kauai and is healthy, Wilmont said..
Three-time world surfing champion Andy Irons, 32, died Nov. 2 in Dallas and the cause of death is still under investigation. Lyndie Irons was seven months pregnant at the time of his death. Andrew is their first child.
