HONOLULU (Hawaii News Now) - The Honolulu Board of Realtors released November residential resales statistics Tuesday.
According to data collected from its Multiple Listing Service system, during November sales of 245 single-family homes and 303 condominiums were reported, a decrease of 5.0 percent and 24.6 percent, respectively, from November 2009.
The median price paid for island properties in November was $585,000 for single-family homes and $315,000 for condominiums, a decrease of 0.8 percent for single-family homes and an increase of 1.4 percent condos, compared to the same month last year.
According to the Days on Market indicator, single-family home sales also closed at a slightly quicker pace in November listing for 42 days, down from 44 days. Sales for condominiums took longer last month compared to November 2009 with listings taking 45 days to close, up from 31.
