Chatting with Billy V: December 7, 2010

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - In the days after Bristol Palin was voted into the finals of Dancing with the Stars, viewers from across the country wrote to the FCC accusing the show of everything from running a "payola type program" to "encouraging and promoting teen pregnancy." Many of the complainants were upset that, as one Oregonian put it, "the top scores were voted off yet Sarah Palin's daughter remained on."

Prison-bound Wesley Snipes will spend the upcoming holidays behind bars after a judge denied his request to delay his surrender date until the New Year. The Blade star and his lawyers have spent two years fighting his 2008 conviction, which found him guilty of failing to file returns or pay tax on earnings of $38 million, dating back to 1999. He lost his appeal and was recently ordered to begin his three-year sentence for tax evasion on Thursday.
