KAUAI (HawaiiNewsNow) - Over to Kauai, where for the first time since the elections, the four county mayors have met.
Kauai's Mayor Bernard Carvalho, Honolulu Mayor Peter Carlisle, Maui Mayor-elect Alan Arakawa and Mayor Billy Kenoi of Hawaii talked about the economy.
The four discussed furloughs and ways they can do away with them.
The mayors also talked about getting together with governor-elect Neil Abercrombie.
The Hawaii council of mayors is scheduled to meet next in December, this time on Oahu.
