HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Umeke Market is hoping to inspire shoppers to look for eco-friendly gifts and "buy green" this holiday season. Michelle Yamaguchi is co-owner of the market. She says "green" gifts could range from jewelry made from recycled bicycle parts to stationary created out of elephant poop.
"I think people will be as excited about giving these gifts as we were about finding them," Yamaguchi said. "And it's not just environmentally friendly, it's really cool stuff."
