HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Let's take a look at some of the Good Things in the news...

There was a warm reception in Delaware for 75 men and women from the Delaware National Guard yesterday. They returned home from overseas duty to spend Thanksgiving with their families. Many said they were thankful for the opportunity to server their country.

The White House is gearing up for Christmas. First Lady Michelle Obama will receive delivery of the official White House Christmas tree. It will take about a week for decorations to transform the tree from being wrapped up on a truck to being the centerpiece of the Blue Room. This year's Douglas Fir comes from Leighton, Pennsylvania.

And Romania broker the world record for Christmas lights; 449,658 bulbs to be exact. The light display cost more than $1.3 million and took 40 staff members 2 weeks to assemble.
