MAUI (HawaiiNewsNow) A 4.7 earthquake rattled the islands Tuesday evening and it could be felt from Maui to Oahu.
"It shook the house side to side. I was off balance for a while my husband could feel it sitting down. But it was gone just like that fast," Molokai resident Alexa Dedoit said.
The epicenter was centered off the coast of Kahoolawe.
It was the strongest in Hawaii since April of 2009 when a 5.2 earthquake struck the Big Island.
There are no reports of injuries or damage, and no tsunami was generated.
