HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A new interactive map will allow the public to get the latest information about sewage spills, beach contamination, storm runoff and other sources of water pollution.
The state Department of Health now offers a clickable map on its website, allowing users to get real-time information 24/7.
The goal of the website is to ensure public safety by keeping them out of contaminated water.
The Clean Water Branch monitors these events and posts maps and warning signs on its website.
