Public advised to stay out of Pearl Harbor due to wastewater discharge

PEARL HARBOR (HawaiiNewsNow) - The state Department of Health is warning people to stay out of Pearl Harbor.

That's because a ruptured sewerline spilled about 4,200 gallons of wastewater into the harbor Sunday night.

The DOH says military and private diving in the area should be postponed for several days until bacteria levels return to normal.
