HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The man who was killed in a pedestrian accident near the Blaisdell Concert Hall has been identified.
A medical examiner has identified the man as 22-year-old Michael Murphy.
The incident happened around 11:00 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of South King and Victoria Street.
Murphy suffered massive head and internal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
It is not clear if Murphy was in a crosswalk.
Police are still looking for the driver involved in the crash, who fled the scene.
The car is reported to be a dark colored sedan, probably with front end damage and possibly a cracked windshield.
