HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - On today's Real Estate of Mind, technology new to Hawaii is changing the way you sell or shop for a new home. Zena Shaney, a Realtor Associate with Coldwell Banker Pacific Properties says QR stands for Quick Response and the code is a 2D barcode that can be scanned with a smart phone application. Many of the newer smart phones come with a QR reader already installed. Otherwise you can find the readers in the app store from your service provider.
Coldwell Banker has recently starting adding the QR codes to the "for sale" signs in the front yards of homes it has on the market. Once the QR code is scanned, your smart phone automatically navigates to a website for that particular home. On the website, you can conveniently see photos of the home, learn a wealth of information about the property and even set up an appointment with the listing agent.
