HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Oahu's first batch of Christmas trees has arrived.
Agriculture inspectors checked 40 containers and found one of them was carrying slugs.
Inspectors still need to identify the slugs to see if the shipment needs to be sent back to the northwest.
The rest of the trees will be distributed.
Walmart stores, except for the Keeaumoku Branch, will start selling them Saturday.
