Kohala partnership saves 10.67 acres of historic sites

KOHALA (HawaiiNewsNow) - A piece of land on the Big Island that's home to more than two dozen cultural and historical sites, will now be protected.

A partnership between Hawaii County, the State and the Trust for Public Land, will save Pao'o in north Kohala.

All three agencies worked together to purchase the ten acre parcel of land for $1.89 million.
