HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -When it comes to online security, the University of Hawaii gets an "F."
That comes from the Liberty Coalition, a mainland-based privacy rights group.
They say over the past five years, at least 479,000 records have been compromised in the state, and the University is the biggest offender.
Recently, social security numbers, grades, and other private information of 40,000 students was posted online for more than a year.
School officials say they're working to improve security.
