Free transportation for UH students going to football game Saturday

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - UH Manoa students can take advantage of free bus transportation from campus to Aloha stadium for the UH vs. San Jose State University football game on Saturday.

The free rides are courtesy of the Chancellor's Office.

Buses will leave from the intersection of East-West Road and Dole Street at 3:15 p.m. The last bus will leave at 3:30 p.m.

All buses will return to campus 30 minutes after the game concludes.

Seat availability is on a first-come, first-served basis.

    Nearly a year after a landslide in Kipahulu, repairs are getting underway to fix parts of Piilani Highway at the Nuanualoa Gulch. The repairs are part of a 7-month-long, nearly $2 million project. Daily road closures will begin February 5th as Hawaiian Dredging Construction crews bring in equipment to build a retaining wall, put up guard rails and complete other safety measures.
