'Target' open house scheduled for Nov. 20

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Kailua residents who are against Target moving into town are planning a protest at an upcoming public meeting.

Target reps are holding a three-hour open house to answer questions Saturday, Nov. 20, at the Kailua Elementary School cafeteria.

The retail giant wants to take over the space now occupied by Don Quijote.

The neighborhood board is against it, saying the 130,000-square-foot store would be too big for their small town.
