Feds announce new anti-tobacco strategy

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services is considering new labels on cigarette packs, hopefully to snuff out tobacco use.

The new labels would be full color and include pictures of dead bodies, sick children and diseased lungs.

The FDA says about 443,000 people die from tobacco use every year.

They're open to public comment right now, and you could see labels like these on cigarette packs in two years.
