HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The Parents TV Council says the use of profanity among all the major networks -- is up 70 percent over the last five years in the 8-9pm (ET) hour. An organization called Habitat for Profanity says the use of words like ass, crap and hell have increased the most.

"Alice in Wonderland," "Inception" and "Iron Man 2" were nominated for the People's Choice Award for favorite film in Los Angeles Tuesday. Also in the running for the top movie prize are "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" and "Toy Story 3."

The nominees for favorite movie actor are Johnny Depp, Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert Downey Jr., Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner.

Vying for the title of favorite movie actress are Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Aniston, Julia Roberts, Katherine Heigl and Kristen Stewart.

Winners will be announced in Los Angeles on January 5 hosted by Queen Latifah.
