A South Florida resident is marking a milestone with a skip in his step. Doctor Louis Stein just turned 107 years old and celebrated by dancing the day away. Surrounded by his family and girlfriend, Dr. Stein said his secret for a long life is wine, women and song.

Legendary surfer Laird Hamilton is back in town. The big wave surfer gave us an exclusive update on his globe-trotting lifestyle. Laird's exploits in gigantic surf have earned him the starring role in a new book that's been on the New York Times bestseller list for the past month.

Hamilton says he's been away from Hawaii so long, coming home to the islands for the winter gives him sensory overload. "I think sometimes that's why being away is so important. I just really appreciate the temperature and the air and the smell and the whole, just where it is. It's like the whole pacific ocean protects this little microcosm."

Keahi Tucker gets the inside scoop on Laird's latest adventures, family life and what's next for the trailblazing surfer. Watch for it tonight on Hawaii News Now at 10:00pm.
