Coming up on Sunrise this morning

Good Tuesday morning Sunrisers,

Murder for hire. Police have arrested a Wahiawa doctor for allegedly plotting to kill his wife. Officers report that the physician tried to hire one of his patients for the job. Details on Sunrise.

Rejected. A federal appeals court in California has refused a request by four non-Hawaiian children. Their attorneys had filed a lawsuit against Kamehameha Schools. We'll tell you why it was rejected.

Are you in or out? That's the question facing the Kahuku Red Raiders this morning. The team is still practicing. They are hoping their lawsuit will get them back in the running for the state tournament after the Oahu Interscholastic Association deemed them ineligible for playing a 5th year senior. When they could find out their fate.

Chai goes Cuban. Chef Chai has invited his friend (known to us as "Mama Kane") to make empanadas. He'll show you how.

Jazz anyone? Saxophonist Michael Paulo has dreamed of creating the Pacific Rim Festival for ten years. It's now come true. He'll perform live this morning.
